VGL Green Chip Invitational

Green Chip Invitational

The Green Chip Invitational is the VGL's invitational season-ending championship.

Qualification is earned by winning designated premier events throughout the season, including:

-Major Championships

-2 Man Team Competitions

If a player has already secured a Green Chip Invitational berth, that qualifying position is awarded to the next highest eligible player in that tournaments points rankings. If nobody from Top 3 ranked can attend, the spot will be left empty. This ensures the championship field remains full while rewarding both event winners and season-long performance.

The Green Chip Invitational brings together many of the season's top-performing players to compete for one of the VGL's most prestigious titles.

Green Chip Eligibility note:

To be eligible for the Green Chip Invitational, a player must be registered in the VGL for a minimum of three (3) league quarters during the current season. This requirement ensures the Green Chip Invitational remains a championship for players who have actively participated throughout the season and prevents players from joining late solely to qualify for the season-ending championship.
